Pete Apostolides was introduced to high-quality audio in 1985 and from that point forward, audio became a significant part of his life. That Christmas, his father took him to Audio Visions, a local audio retailer where he purchased his first high-end audio component: the Rotel RCD-855 CD player
Over the course of four decades as an audiophile, Pete developed a deep appreciation for music reproduction while simultaneously building a successful professional career. While attending college, Pete became involved in the competitive car audio scene, an experience that introduced him to many lifelong friends. He earned a reputation for having exceptional listening skills, and fellow competitors frequently sought his assistance in tuning their systems for optimal sound quality. As his expertise grew, he became a head sound quality judge at several prominent local competitions.
Building on his audio-visual expertise, he started installing custom audio and video systems on weekends, initially for friends, before expanding through word-of-mouth referrals. Clients appreciated his honesty, transparency, and practical approach, qualities that earned their trust and built lasting relationships. Pete’s mission was never simply to install equipment, but to bring the enjoyment of music and home entertainment into his clients’ lives. He found genuine satisfaction in helping others experience high-quality music and video in their homes.
Pete has developed a comprehensive understanding of audio design, engineering, and the philosophies behind many of the industry’s most respected manufacturers. Since the summer of 2025, Pete has expanded his passion by designing and building loudspeakers from both kits and his own original concepts.
He earned an M.B.A. from Hofstra University in 1997 and began his decades long career as a data analyst at companies like Publishers Clearing House and Charter Communications.
